New Year's Resolutions - Planning for Positive Change

Are you starting to contemplate your New Year resolutions? Or have you resolved never to make a New Year's resolution again? If the latter, you're not alone. Many people get demoralized when, year after year, they make resolutions that they keep for only a few weeks.

Why is this? After all, we all have the best intentions, and the timing (new year, new start) couldn't be better. A key problem lies in the fact that we place a huge amount of pressure on ourselves. During the last week of December and the first week of January, it can seem that all you hear is, "What are your New Year's resolutions? " "What are you going to work on this year?".

And the focus is on the "what" not the "how." When you are more concerned with the goal you set than on the specifics of how you are going to accomplish it, this can quickly lead to failure.

So, if you resolve to set successful New Year resolutions, read on. Let's focus on how, this year, you can set yourself up to achieve them!

New Year Resolution Mistakes

There are two common mistakes that people tend to make when they start to make their New Year resolutions: They think about what they "should" do, rather than what they really want to do. And worse, they think about what they should stop doing, rather than what they actually want to achieve. "What should I do this year?" "What should I stop doing?", "What do other people suggest I should work on?"

To be successful at any change, you need to really want it. Unless you take the time to think about what it is that you really want you (rather than what you should do or should stop doing), you will invariably end up making resolutions that you are not fully committed to.

Without commitment, you aren't motivated. After the first setbacks or obstacles, you'll probably quit. So the first rule of New Year Resolutions is to only make resolutions that you can commit to – don't make them because it is "the thing to do", or because someone has told you that you should.

The irony of it is that New Year's resolutions have the potential to be very powerful, because making them is such a well recognized practice. Everyone knows that everyone else is setting resolutions. And what a great mutual support network that can provide!

This external motivation and support, along with your internal motivation – your desire to succeed – is what can make the difference between success and failure.

Eight Rules for New Year's Resolutions

Our Eight Rules for New Year's Resolutions will help to set you up for success right from the start. Inevitably you will come up against challenges and road blocks along the way; however by planning ahead and following these rules, you'll be better placed to deal with these problems easily, rather than stumble and quit.

Rule 1: Commit to Your Resolution

Successful resolutions start with a strong commitment to make a change. To succeed, you must believe that you can accomplish what you set out to do, and really want to achieve it. Bolster that belief and desire by doing the following:
  1. Choose resolutions that you really want to achieve – and express them in a positive way.
  2. Announce your resolution to everyone around you – they will help to hold you accountable.
  3. Develop a ceremony to mark the beginning of your commitment – this makes it more "real" and special for you.
  4. Don't leave your choice of resolution to the last minute - take time to think about your goals, and make sure that you are mentally committed to them.
  5. Questions to ask yourself to determine if you can take ownership of your resolution include:
  • Is this resolution my idea or someone else's?
  • Does this resolution motivate and invigorate me?
  • Does this resolution sit comfortably with other factors in my life, such as my values and long-term plans?
6. Remember that there's no reason why your New Year's resolution should take all year to achieve!

Tip:
Imagery is a powerful technique to help you own and commit to your resolutions. Picture yourself having attained your goal. How do you feel? How do you look? Where are you, and what are you doing? How do others react to you? By visualizing yourself in the position you desire, you can bolster your belief that you can achieve your goal, and strengthen your desire to do so.

Rule 2: Be Realistic

The key to achieving goals is continued motivation. If you set goals that are too difficult, you risk failing. Consistently failing at something is profoundly de-motivating (it's no wonder that after a few dismal attempts, some people abandon the idea of New Year's resolutions altogether!)
  1. Think carefully before setting the same resolution that you set last year. If it didn't work for you then, make sure that there is good reason that you can achieve it this year. What has changed? Do you have more commitment to make it work? (Be careful, or else you will end up with a repeat performance, and another failed resolution!)
  2. Aim lower, rather than too high – aim for something that is challenging, but that you have a good chance of accomplishing. If there is any doubt, err on the side of caution and expand your goal later if you want to keep improving.
  3. Don't try to do too much. There is no reason to set more than one or two resolutions. Anymore than that, and you'll lose focus, and lessen your chances of success in any one area.
Rule 3: Write It Down

A simple but powerful technique for making your goal feel real is to put your resolution into writing. There is something inside us that creates more commitment and drive when we do this. Consider writing your resolution down on pieces of card, and keeping it where you'll see it often – on your desk, on the fridge door, or in your wallet.

Rule 4: Make a Plan

This is where so many resolutions fall down. Articulating what you want to achieve is one thing; deciding how to do it is quite another. Don't miss out this step!
  1. Start by envisioning where you want to be.
  2. Then work back along your path to where you are today, writing down all of the milestones that you need to pass in between.
  3. Decide what you will do to reach each of these milestones, at least at a high level. (You can plan in more detail as you reach that stage.)
Rule 5: Be Flexible

Not everything will work out precisely the way you planned. If you are too rigid in your approach to making resolutions, the first minor obstacle can throw you off your course completely.
  1. When creating your plan, try to predict some of the challenges that you will face. Make a contingency plan for the ones that have the highest probability, and mentally prepare yourself for others, just in case they come up.
  2. Realize that your resolution itself may change along the way. As long as this is positive, that's not failure, it's reality. As your life changes, so will your goals, dreams, and desires. Remember Rule 1 (Commit to Your Resolution): If you need to make changes to the goal so that you continue to care about it, do so.
Tip:
There is no fixed rule saying that a resolution must be set in January. If your circumstances mean that it is better to wait until March, then do so. Resolution making and goal setting are a year round activity.

Rule 6: Use a System of Reminders

It's hard to keep focused on your plan when you have many other commitments, responsibilities, and obligations. The best way to stay on top of your resolution is to develop a formal reminder system.
  1. We'll say it again: have your written resolutions visible at as many times of the day as possible. Leave reminders at work, at home, in the car, on your calendar, in your briefcase, and so on.
  2. Make sure that the actions you have planned are on your To-Do List (perhaps have a special section for them at the top).
  3. Set up reminders in your desktop calendar or subscribe to an email reminder service.
  4. Think creatively about how you can remind yourself of your resolutions, so that they stay in the front of your mind.
Rule 7: Track Your Progress

You won't know how well you are doing unless you keep track of your progress. This is why your detailed plan is so important. By building excitement around the little successes, you can keep yourself motivated, and keep pushing forwards.
  1. Use a journal and regularly make an entry in it regarding your progress.
  2. Note when you felt particularly pleased with your efforts.
  3. Note when you felt down, or felt like quitting. Over time, look for common themes and decide if there is an underlying issue that needs to be addressed.
  4. Record challenges you faced, as well as things that went better than planned.
  5. Look back at your entries on a regular basis, and use your past experiences to shape your attitude as you move forward.
  6. Ask a friend or family member to call you on pre-defined occasions to discuss your progress.
Rule 8: Reward Yourself

Although knowledge of a job well done can be reward enough, we all enjoy a little treat from time to time. Even the most committed person needs a boost, and sometimes that is best accomplished through an external reward.

When you are developing your plan, make a note of a few milestones where you will reward yourself once you have achieved them. But spread them out – you want to make sure that the rewards remain special, and are not too easy to get!

Key Points

New Year's resolutions can be a pain or a pleasure – the choice is yours! If they're a pain, you may resolve never to make a resolution again, so resolve to make them a pleasure! The starting point is to focus on something that you really want and are ready to give your commitment to. Do this and you'll be in a great position to stay motivated and be successful!

As you plan your New Year resolutions, apply the Eight Rules to set yourself up for success.

  4. Kena KIV dulu.
  5. Acid ada belikan BB. La nih, tengah antar service. ;)

Doa Akhir Tahun & Doa Awal Tahun

Jalan-jalan sampai lebam

Hari nih I cuti. My annual leave dah negative pun. :P I tak nak la amek unpaid leave. Banyak ok kena tolak. So, nih kira pinjam cuti tahun depan.. Acid nya cuti banyak lagi. Orang dah lama kerja, standard la kan.. Apa yang Acid & I buat sepanjang hari..
  1. Pagi-pagi lagi dah pegi KWSP. Settle kan permohonan pengeluaran pendidikan. "They" still owe me the money (they itu bukan KWSP). Sangat senang berurusan kat kaunter KWSP Jalan Reko. Masa menunggu tak lama. Yeala, tak ramai orang pun. Pastuh kami buat semakan Penama tuk KWSP dan terus buat penama. Anda dah semak? Cam iklan plak :P
  2. Dah selesai kat KWSP, kami pegi Lembaga Zakat Selangor plak tuk bayar zakat pendapatan. Alhamdulillah, harap berkatlah rezeki kami. Kalau setakat nak bayar dalam 10-15minit memang dah selesai.
  3. Pastuh, hantar my parents & Adam g LCCT. Mereka sedang bercuti sambil melawat Amir di Adelaide & Melbourne, Australia. Adeh! Nak pegi jugak. Almost everyday I akan check harga tiket flight. Tue pun kalau I tak bizik. Kalau bizik, skali check, dah naik harga. Hopefully dapat pegi by next year.
  4. Its Jcard Members Day @ Mid Valley. Apa lagi, terjahlah!! Plan asal nak cari LCD tv. vacuum cleaner & portable DVD. But ended up beli vacuum cleaner je. Yang lain tuh KIV dulu la. Nak bagi cukupkan jumlah pembelian tuk dapatkan gift voucher, kena la tambah beli barang lain. Beli apa lagi kalau bukan inner wear. Dah lama I cari panties for period. Bila tanya kat SA, dia tunjuk kat area panties for pregnant mommy. Demmit. 2 kali I pegi tanya, dia still tunjuk kat area tuh. Last2 g tanya kat SA yang lain.
  5. Cari hadiah for our anniversary. Ok, Acid nak snickers. I pun tak berapa pasti dia nak yang macamana. Puas dah jalan, tapi tak sempat pun tawaf Mid tuh.. Last2, I yang dapat.. Hehehe.. Thanks Darling.. I love u..
p/s: Esok kita ke The Gardens pulaks, ok!

Selamat Hari Raya Aidiladha

Yes peps! I tak balik kampung. Esok petang lepas Acid balik kerja, barulah kami bergerak ke Tanjung Ipoh, N9. So, hari nie I duk kat umah sorang-sorang. Serius tak rasa macam raya. Huhuhu. Mungkin sebab I menyibukkan diri dengan :

My to do list:
  1. Sediakan juadah di pagi raya. Menunya

macaroni cheese with spegetti sauce plus hot chocolate. Dah Acid suka makan dengan macaroni cheese, I ikut saja. Saja masak banyak. Boleh ulang-ulang makan sampai lebam. Hikhikhik. Acid pun bawak bekal g opis. Kuih raya hari tuh pun tak abis lagi. Ada yang tak buka langsung.
  2. Basuh baju. 3 loads ok! Fyi I memang akan basuh baju hujung minggu. Means, 1 load baju I, 1 load baju Acid, 1 load lagi kadang-kadang towel dan cadar. Sangat puas hati sebab semuanya kering. Yay!
  3. Kemas dapur. Iye, lepas masak kenalah kasi kilat dapur tuh. Maknanya, malam nie dapar itu tidak berasap. Hikhikhik..
  4. Cuci toilet. Boleh la basuh baju dengan tangan. Dulu rajin la jugak nak basuh t-shirt, shirt, jeans, skirt guna tangan. Guna mesin naik rosak jadinya.. kena basuh tangan jugak.. tsk tsk Tapi hari nie tak larat dah nak basuh baju guna tangan. Esok je la.
  5. Balut buku teks. Dah 4 minggu kelas, baru nak balut. Huhuhu. Yeala nak tunggu semua buku teks ada baru nak balut. Letih ok, nak cari buku teks SAD. Kat publisher dah abis stock pulak. Nie pun dapat kat University Bookstore PJ.

Minggu lepas g cari kat MPH SACC mall. Tapi takde. Kalau ada pun, kat MPH Penang. Tak dapat buku, dapat mende lain plak :P Dah start Year End Sales kan? Hikhikhik

  6. Study. Tapi tak study lagi. Huhuhu. Tak lama lagi nak midterm dah. Letih dah buat kerja satu hari nie.
Nie pulak to do list tuk esok :
  1. Basuh baju dengan tangan.
  2. Iron baju.
  3. Kemas beg nak balik kampung.
  4. Study..

Dilema Hari Raya

Lepas acid g kerja pagi semalam..

ayah : awak balik tak kampung?
me : balik, tapi rashid kena kerja hari Jumaat..
emak : hari raya pun kerja?
me : (sangat sedih..)

Apalah yang I nak masak di pagi raya, kalau tak balik kampung? Dah la masa balik beraya kat JB I tak dapat makan lemang.. Raya Haji pun tak dapat jugak ke? Aduhai.. I ingat lagi, last time tak balik beraya masa parent I g haji.. Yeala dah uwan pun duduk sini masa tuh, Acid pun beraya sama kat sini.

Sebenarnya dah plan nak balik jugak malam nie.. Esok lepas breakfast & solat sunat aidiladha, Acid trus pegi kerja. Yang jadi masalah sekarang nie sama ada I nak stay kat kampung @ ikut dia balik skali.. Kalau I tak ikut dia balik, maknanya esok lepas kerja dia akan balik rumah Shah Alam. Hari Sabtu, lepas habis kerja baru dia balik kampung balik. Acid plak suruh I stay je.. So, boleh tolong-tolong tuk kenduri. I nak ikut balik sebab boleh la study kat umah (study ke?).. haruslah study.. walaupun nanti balik kampung bawa buku segala, boleh jamin ke I study?

Anyway, kami nak ucapkan Selamat Hari Raya Aidiladha, Maaf Zahir Batin jugak ke? hikhikhik..

Alhamdulillah.. Syukur..

I baru je check result tadi. Alhamdulillah, walaupun takde A langsung still manage to get 3 pointer. Habis duk sapu segala B. Memang dah agak pun dapat result macam tuh. Sem nih kena la pulun bagi dapat A plak. (Hint : I nak berhenti kerja.) Paling tak sangka subjek Accounting dpt B+. Bak kata Pn. Akauntan a.k.a. Emy, "Okla tuh.. Itu pun I rasa lecturer dah banyak membantu.

Hampir nak sapu rumah flat. Im really envy with her achievement (dengan workload kat opis, dengan nak layan suami & anak-anak). Hikhikhik.. Takpe-takpe, sem nih kita dah start amek subjek IT, make sure A ok!

Shopping @ IKEA

Remote control pocket yang sepatutnya letak kat sofa, tapi kami letak kat kepala katil dengan alasan malas nak capai segala remote bila nak tido / terjaga masa tido nak switch off aircond / slow kan kipas.

Enchek suami yang berminat nak beli glass door cabinet nih.. rasa macam nak beli lagi 1. Pastuh boleh beli lampu sekali. Tunggu pindah dulu kut. Tapi bila nak assemble, mak datuk susahnya..

Mula-mula tak nak beli, pastuh rasa macam nak beli. Bila dah balik rumah mak cakap, "awak nak buat apa tupperware banyak-banyak.."

Bed storage box nih memang tak plan pun nak beli, biasa la kan.. bila dah sampai sana mende alah yang tak rancang nak beli pun boleh terbeli.. hikhikhik..

Summary of 1st week class for 2nd Trimester

The timetable for this 2nd trimester is carca-merba. Clash with other classes and the timetable it self changing all the time. Plus, student portal always down. I took 3 subjects. Mon - Human Resources Management (HRM) - the lecturer is not an academician but have a lot of experience in HR industry, Tue - Marketing Management (MM) - the lecturer is from IPTS, Thus - System Analysis and Design (SAD) - the lecturer is from my beloved faculty and we are going to learn about SADNESS.

Punya la bersemangat nak g kelas hari Isnin. Ceh! Selalukan Monday Blues.

Rupa-rupanya majikan buat caruman sampai bulan Ogos je. Tau la diaorg ada financial problem, tapi tue kan duit pekerja. I still bersyukur gaji jalan. Bila tanya orang HR, sorry la lambat sikit.

Result pulak, belum dapat lagi.

Clamp

Recently, there are few cars being clamped. I penah la kena skali :P. If I'm not mistaken, last year. But I'm not sure which month. To avoid being clamped, one should buy season parking which is RM50/month or coupon parking's booklet which is RM30 for 10 days(RM3/day). I used to ngelat beli season parking & coupons parking for almost 2 or 3 months I guess. Ended up, kena clamp la kan. Melayang RM50 tuk buka clamp je. *sigh*

Sorry for low quality picture. Taken using Motorola L7.

Iftar with friends

So, last Saturday Bee & I had an iftar with old school's friends back in Shah Alam at Pak Su's Corner. It was last minute plan & only 17 people confirm to join. Quantity doesn't matter, but the quality time we spent made us remind all sweet memories. The last iftar we had with them during Form 3 (1998 - last duk kat hostel. Pastuh cabut balik Serdang & Bee masuk sekolah teknik).

Updates on cookies:
I made shortbread cookies. Hehehe. Gila susah nak reassemble cutter lepas dah ceraikan satu-satu. Dari 1 adunan sampai 3 adunan I buat. Rasa macam tak menjadi je. Baru buat sekali, nak kena buat byk kali baru betul-betul menjadi kut. Itu pun kalau gigih. Tradition cookies plak, buat 1 adunan je, sebab dah malas nak tggu smp abis. Klau buat 2 adunan mau sahur baru siap. Mana taknya start buat kul 10 mlm.

Mini Project Tonite

Hehehe.. That is my status @ Facebook. Yup, that title can have double meaning. But the truth is, I'm going to make and bake cookies tonite. Last year, I only made 1 type of cookies, but mom got more than 2 I guess. Lupa dah ok! So, this year, as usual I will make the tradition cookies (ceh! tradition mean every year must have that cookies) plus another cookies. Dah siap nanti, I kasi up okeh?

Yesterday, my baju kurung moden sudah siap and guess what? I don't think that baju suits me well. Adeh, 1 keja plak nak kena oter bagai (>.<) Thats only happen when you tempah your baju with an amateur tailor. Dia tak amek ukuran pun and I just give baju contoh. Salah I jugak sebabnya baju contoh tuh jatuh terletak, tp kain yang nak buat nih, xjatuh terletak. Macamana tuh? (garu-garu kepala).

Moral of the story, tempahlah baju anda dengan professional tailor. They will measure you and sometimes give an input about the design. Tapi professional tailor tak semestinya butik yang gah2. Tak sanggup nengok kain yang kita beli cantik2, akhirnya tailor salah buat atau tak sedap dipakai. Nyesal xsudah.

Mak accident. Mujur tak cedera, Cik Kem kemek ckit tang pintu. Mujur pintu belakang, bukan pintu belah driver. Bukan salah mak waima driver lori tuh. Ini semua gara-gara blind spots semasa memandu. (lagi besar kenderaan, lagi besar blind spots nye). Tapi, driver lori tuh kena la alert ckit (bukan driver lori je.. pemandu-pemandu yang lain pun kena alert jugak psal blind spots nih). Pas accident trus g antar bengkel. Ketuk mana-mana yang patut. Nak tunggu claim insuran, amek masa berbulan-bulan. Baiklah buat sendiri. :P

Blind spots, in the context of driving an automobile, are the areas of the road that cannot be seen while looking forward or through either the rear-view or side mirrors. Blind spots can be eliminated by overlapping side and rear-view mirrors, or checked by turning one's head briefly, or by adding another mirror with a larger field of view. Detection of vehicles or other objects in blind spots may also be aided by systems such as video cameras or distance sensors, though these are not common in automobiles sold to the general public.

Merdeka!! Merdeka!! Merdeka!!

But I'm not yet.. :P Still have to struggle for accounting's midterm paper & lots of individual and grouping assignment to be done.. plus the presentation.

Yesterday was my 2nd midterm paper. The exam supposed to be @ 9:45am but started @ 10:45am. Part mengira-ngira, laju je jawab. Theoritical part, definitely I answered it as what i'm remembered. Plus merepek-repek and I dont think repekan ku itu so true.. :P As my groupmate planned, we're going to have a short discussion after the exam. Ended up I cant join them as one of my cousin passed away that morning. So, Bee took halfday leave, wait for me until I finished my exam and we straight away went off to Seremban.

Tapi xpe, dah singgah pasar ramadhan kat Senawang. Ingatkan nak g yang kat K.Pilah. Dah solat asar, tolong uwan buat kueh sopang a.k.a. kueh badak berendam. Tapi badak berendam cam bulat-bulat ckit. Sopang nie cam karipap pun ada bentuknya. My version xtau rupa apa. lol. Source gmbr dari Enchek Google

Kuih Sopang

and guess what? I cant let Bee went to buy groceries by his own. (mana aci, nak kuar gak g jenjalan walaupun blum abis study :P) Balik keja hari Jumaat lg dia dah tny, esok nak g mane? Aduhai, suamiku..

Last but not least, Selamat Menyambut Hari Kemerdekaan yang ke-52. 1 Malaysia.

Gile Cuak!!

Situation 1

Yesterday I've got OB midterm paper. First paper to be exact. Yours truly took medical leave just to study & studo. :P 6 questions from 6 chapters each & I had to answer only 3 questions. Theres tips given by the lecturer, but still need to do a lot of reading & memorizing. Gosh.. Once I read the questions, its not an application based, all theoretical questions. >.< So, ended up.. jawab sesuka hati.. lalala.. (gumbira di luar, tapi nangis di dalam)

Situation 2

I just back from class today. As I entered to my home-sweet-home, I heard someone sedang menukul.. Whose on earth yang bertukang memalam buta nih?? (Tp malam blum nak buta lg sbb baru kul 9:30) :P Fyi, jiran sebelah-menyebelah tiada, parents & lil bro went to surau, Bee still not back yet (skrg pun blom balik lg >.<)..

Dalam pikiran.. adakah pencuri masuk umah arwah nenek? I was scared to death.. Trus call Bee. Bee siap suruh g surau, bgtau parents. Heh.. and ayah's responses, "Awk balik la dulu, ayah nak kemas surau.." Adeh.. xpuas hati lagi nie.. siap g tny student chayanunalif yang sewa sebelah umah arwah nenek. "Tadi awk ada mengetuk-ngetuk ke? atau ada dengar orang mengetuk-ngetuk x?" "Oh!! Pintu bilik atas sudah rosak, kami betulkan pintu.." Lolipop..

Salam Ramadhan

Kumengharapkan Ramadhan
Kali ini penuh makna
Agar dapat kulalui
Dengan sempurna

Selangkah demi selangkah
Setahun sudah pun berlalu
Masa yang pantas berlalu
Hingga tak terasaku berada
Di bulan Ramadhan semula

Puasa satu amalan
Sebagaimana yang diperintah-Nya
Moga dapat kulenturkan
Nafsu yang selalu membelenggu diri
Tiada henti-henti

Tak ingin ku biarkan Ramadhan berlalu saja
Tuhan pimpinlah daku yang lemah
Mengharungi segalanya dengan sabar

Kumemohon pada Tuhan diberikan kekuatan
Kumerayu pada Tuhan diterima amalan

Selangkah demi selangkah…
Dengan rahmatMu oh Tuhanku…
Ku tempuh jua..

Bajet

Bagaimana membuat bajet hari raya?

Sekiranya jumlah pendapatan melebihi jumlah perbelanjaan, tahniah diucapkan. Namun, jika pendapatan anda kurang daripada jumlah perbelanjaan yang diperlukan, anda perlu buat sesuatu.

Cuba lihat contoh di bawah:
Jumlah Pendapatan
Gaji Suami: RM2,000,
Gaji Isteri: RM2,000,
Lain-lain: Tiada
JUMLAH: RM4,000

Jumlah Perbelanjaan
Bayar rumah: RM800
Bayar kereta: RM500
Bayar bil: RM200
Kuih raya: RM500
Balik kampung: RM500
Duit raya: RM1,000
Baju anak-anak: RM500
Baju melayu suami: RM200
Baju kurung isteri: RM400

JUMLAH: RM4,600

Please let me know, if you do.

Duit bukanlah segala-galanya, tapi segala-galanya memerlukan duit.

Tepuk dada tanya minda

  • berhenti kerja makan gaji & spend time (quality time) dengan orang tersayang?

Makanya, bertindaklah!! Make a move.

I had to cancel an appointment with my friend a.k.a. my customer. Hish. Menyusahkan orang awam!! Banyak roadblock & banyak jalan yang ditutup. Sigh. Jem xhengat.. (saya xnak menyentuh bab-bab politik di sini - harap maklum) Ended up, patah balik g hantar cuci keta & g Jusco Equine. Tapi xsemua dishes dimasak.. :P & he reached home about 12 pm. Nasib baik dah makan dulu. Xlarat nak tunggu sampai dia balik baru nak makan.

So, this morning we headed to Tanjung Ipoh, N9. Uwan ada buat kenduri doa selamat sempena nak menyambut kedatangan bulan ramadhan al-mubarak. Sepanjang jalan lepas Bukit Putus banyak gerai yang jual buah-buahan. Tengah musim buahkan sekarang nih. Lepas je kenduri kami g memetik buah rambutan kat belakang umah. Xbawak balik camera plak. Klau x, boleh amek aksi Tarzan sedang panjat pokok & Jane tengah tggu kat bawah pokok.. **sigh**

Balik Serdang dalam kul 4, antar Adam balik umah, pas2 trus g shopping some groceries. Guess what? Enchek suami sibuk nak beli meja jepun tuk isteri dia study. :P I think almost 2 to 3 weeks he looking for that table. Ma kasih ya.. Syg bgt sama kamu deh.. Pasnie mmg kena study la.. huhuhu.. sblm nie asyik studo jek :P Pas2 siap kena suruh study lg.. Adoi ai.. Best balik kampung skali skala. Cuma kolam xde air.. Ceh!! macam mandi je dlm kolam. Mandi, ok.. Cuma ianya akan dipenuhi oleh kanak-kanak ribena.

The Accidental Couple

Huhuhu.. cite nih abih smlm & smlm balik dari klas pun lmbt.. xdpt nak ngk ending.. nak kena ngk kat tenet la gamak nye.. Kat bwh nie review psal cite nih..

The KBS2 drama "The Accidental Couple" aired its final 16th episode on June 18, which saw a happy ending where Han Ji-soo (Kim Ah-joong) and Gu Dong-baek (Hwang Jeong-min) married for real.

Dong-baek asked Ji-soo to end their contract marriage and divorce him, but Ji-soo said, crying, that she did not want a divorce. He told her, "I was dishonest. Now that I have really gotten to love you, divorce will not be an end but a new beginning. I want to divorce you so that I can start all over again with you. I want to be your real lover".

Dong-baek was subjected to criticism from his sister as well as his colleagues and Ji-soo's fans, who even attacked him so severely that he had to be hospitalized. But all these obstacles made Dong-baek and Ji-soo love each other more, and they enjoyed dating secretly and spending other time together.

In a press conference later to announce her divorce, Ji-soo confessed that she had married Dong-baek under a six-month contract but that she had really come to love him and would not divorce him. There, she proposed to him, and they kissed. And they had another wedding amid the blessings of relatives and friends to become a "real" couple.

The episode ended with Ji-soo and Dong-baek's narration saying, "The six months we first wished would pass in a flash has changed us all. It seems we have grown up a bit. Now we know where true happiness comes from".

Viewers expressed their impressions on the drama's web board, saying that they continually smiled while watching it and felt happy after each viewing. They said they were fortunate to watch such an entertaining drama.

Actor Baek Seong-hyeon, who played Han Sang-cheol, Ji-soo's brother, also wrote his feeling about being part of the drama. He said, "I feel as if I will still live as Sang-cheol when I get up tomorrow morning, going to my sister Ji-soo's home. I feel proud of our drama because all the staff and casting members gave it all they have, and am honored to be a part of this heart-warming, happy drama".

Meanwhile, "The Accidental Couple" will be replaced by "The Partner", which deals with the life of young lawyers at a law firm. It stars Choi Cheol-ho, Kim Hyeon-joo, Lee Dong-wook and Lee Honey.

Decisions are easy when values are clear

The Choice...
You awaken and immediately decide, it's going to be a great day or you decide that it's not.

You drive to work and the car next to you suddenly cuts you off, you can choose to immediately respond with understanding or with anger.

You get to work and your boss tells you about a change in operations that will happen next week. You can choose to be excited about the opportunity or fearful of the change.

Later in the day, you are asked to lunch by a couple of new guys from another department. You can decide to make new friends and go or be small and kindly decline.

Before you leave for the day, you receive an email about giving to an annual charity campaign. You can choose to give freely or hold on tightly.

When you get home, your toddler asks you to play 'batman and monsters.' You can make the choice to join in the fun or refuse.

At dinner, the dog jumps on your lap again, who let the dog in anyway? You can choose to be patient and calmly let the dog outside or you can show your frustration and fatigue.

After dinner, your oldest child brings in his math test, he earned a 'B.' You can choose to encourage and recognize the effort or tear him down by asking why it wasn't an 'A.'

When you go to work in your shop later in the evening, you can choose to wear PPE and work safely or you can make the choice not to wear it.

At bedtime, as you turn off the light, you can choose to tell your spouse what he/she means to you or you can keep quiet.

What kind of day would it have been if you chose the former in all cases?

What type of day would it have been if you had decided on the latter in all situations?

In these cases there are not any 'rights' or 'wrongs' just simple choices. The hidden secret of life however is that we are a product of the simple decisions we make each moment. Each day we make hundreds if not thousands of choices. We make a conscious choice for happiness, leadership, a smile, love, kindness or generosity. Or we just as easily opt for smallness, fear, anger, resentment, bitterness or hatred.

So, what type of day is it? The choice is up to you...

Clarify Your Values by Brian Tracy

Decide What You Stand For
What are your values? What do you stand for? What are the organizing principles of your life? What are your core beliefs? What virtues do you aspire to, and hold in high regard when you see them demonstrated by others? What will you not stand for? What would you sacrifice for, suffer for, and even die for? These are extremely important questions that are only asked by about three percent of the population, and that small minority tends to be the movers and shakers in every society.

Write Out Your Key Values
When I first began this values clarification exercise some years ago, I wrote out a list of 163 qualities that I aspired to. I think I eventually came up with every virtue, value or positive descriptive adjective that referred to personality and character in the dictionary. And I agreed with all of them. I felt that they were all important and I wanted to incorporate every single one of them into my character.

Focus On A Few Core Beliefs
But then reality set in. I realized that it is very hard to learn even one new quality, or to change even one thing about myself, let alone dozens of things. So I scaled down my ambitions and began narrowing the values down to a small number that I could manage and work with. Once I had settled on about five core beliefs, I was then able to get to work on myself and start making some progress in character development.

Select Your Five Key Values
You should do the same. You should write down the five values that you feel are the most important for you to live by. Once you have those five values, you then organize them in order of priority. Which is the most important value in your hierarchy of values? Which would be second? Which would be third, and so on?

Learn To Make Better Decisions
Every choice or decision you make is based on your values. Whenever you decide between alternatives, you invariably choose the alternative that you value the most. Because you can only do one thing at a time, everything you do is a demonstration of what you consider to be the most important at that moment. Therefore, organizing your values in an order of priority is the starting point of personal strategic planning. It is only when you are clear about what you value, and in what order, that you are capable of planning and organizing the other activities of your life.

Action Exercises
Here are two things you can do immediately to put these ideas into action:

First, clarify your core beliefs and your unifying principles. Write them down and compare your life today with the values that are really important to you. How are you doing?

Second, organize your values in order of their importance to you. Which of your values is most important? Which is second? And so on. Do your current choices reflect this order of values

p/s : I just wanna share with u guys what I've learned in my OB class and how I wish Bee were sitting besides me in the class.. **sigh**

Summary for first week of class

After about 2 and half year leaving "school", once again I registered as a student, postgraduate student at Graduate School Management(GSM), UPM. Being a part-time student in the evening and full-time working from 8am till 5pm, hopefully it wont melunturkan semangat sedia ada. Even sometimes I felt a bit down and thanks to Bee for being really supportive.

So, on Monday there was a short briefing for new postgraduate student consists of MBA, MM, MSc, and PhD. Plg ramai of coz la MBA. From FSKTM I jumped to GSM and for sure, theres no one I know. Nvm, I can make friends later. Noted that only 20++ taking MM. Lol..

For this semester I'm required to take only 3 subjects, Organizational Behaviour(OB), Accounting for Decision Making(AfDM) and Operation Management(OM). All core subjects for management and text books also provided. F.O.C. I bet its only for core subject. Meanwhile for specialization subject have to buy by your own self. **sigh** Theres a lot of discussions, presentations and assignments too. Gambatte!!

Jenis-Jenis Isteri Yang Cantik

Perniagaan MLM terus pacu pertumbuhan Hai-O

- BERNAMA
